VOICE GATHERINGS Singing is a natural human effort to communicate. It opens doors to other cultures and languages, and it makes you feel good. Would you like to meet and join in community with other singers for an improvised singing and circle songs ?. This gathering will be an opportunity for participants of all experience levels to come together and find more freedom and playful expression in singing and voice. Singing to express the longings in our hearts, to heal and to celebrate the joy in our souls, and reconnect ourselves to the earth and to each other. Time to meet new friends and really listen. Time to sit around the campfire. Time to move. Time to tell stories and jokes. Time to eat slow meals. Time to relax and rejuvenate. ​ Gatherings may incorporate numerous elements spanning from healthy voice technique, fundamentals of sound healing, and vocal meditation to movement/dance, improvisation, and song creation. These events can be structured as workshops, meditation/healing/circles, celebrations, etc. Lifting voice together is an invaluable way to connect and support each person, milestones of life (pregnancy, birthdays, marriage, retirement, anniversaries) or support each other through challenging times (grief, illness, job loss, divorce, relocation) as well.
